The Niftonic Sports mobile application and related services are operated by Niftonic Private Limited ("Niftonic", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Niftonic Sports, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1.1 Information you provide
When you create an account or use our services, we may collect:
- Account details: name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, city, profile photo, and account type (player or venue owner).
- Preferences: preferred sports, skill level, and notification settings.
- Booking information: facility selections, dates, times, sport type, and booking history.
- Business listings: if you are a venue owner, facility name, address, description, photos, videos, pricing, availability, and related business information.
- Communications: feedback, support requests, reviews, and other messages you send through the app.
- Promotional codes: if you enter a promo or referral code.
1.2 Information from sign-in providers
If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive information from that provider such as your name, email address, and a unique account identifier, in accordance with your settings with that provider.
1.3 Location information
With your permission, we may access your device's location while you use the app to suggest your city and show nearby sports venues. We use location to determine the nearest supported city and do not continuously track your location in the background.
1.4 Device and usage information
We may automatically collect:
- Device type, operating system, app version, and language settings.
- Push notification tokens so we can send booking reminders and service updates.
- Log and diagnostic data such as crash reports and performance information to keep the app reliable.
- General usage data such as screens viewed and interactions with app features.
1.5 Payment information
Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Stripe may collect payment method details, billing information, and transaction records in accordance with its own privacy policy.

We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Provide venue discovery, booking, favorites, reviews, events, and related app features.
- Process bookings, subscriptions, and payments through our payment partners.
- Send transactional messages such as booking confirmations, reminders, and account notices.
- Send push notifications you have enabled.
- Display relevant venues based on city, sport, and location preferences.
- Help venue owners manage clients, availability, and bookings.
- Improve, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot our services.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or policy violations.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- With venue partners: when you make a booking, relevant details (such as your name and booking time) may be shared with the venue you book so they can fulfill the reservation.
- With service providers: we use trusted third parties that help us operate the app, including Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, cloud functions, messaging), Stripe (payments), Apple and Google (sign-in), and infrastructure providers. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
- For legal reasons: if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, venues, or Niftonic Private Limited.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
- With your consent: when you direct us to share information or otherwise agree.
4. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention and financial recordkeeping.

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access, update, or correct your account information through the app profile settings.
- Delete your account through the in-app account deletion flow.
- Withdraw consent for optional permissions such as location or push notifications through your device settings.

Niftonic Sports is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Our services may be operated using infrastructure located outside your country of residence, including servers provided by Google Cloud and Firebase.
